Last year I taught a 2-day retreat at Prairie Oaks Institute with musician Neal Hagberg and facilitator Chris Johnson. It was a pilot of sorts and we weren’t sure what to expect as 15 strangers gathered in the comfortable space together. As we found our rhythm, the result was rich conversation and positive reviews. In fact, the main comment we heard as people headed toward home was, “I wish this had been longer.”
So we listened. We are hosting our retreat again this year April 14-16, and building in a little extra time for reflection and conversation. I hope you can join us.
In our busy world, when was the last time you allowed yourself to step away for renewal? Our days are busy with details and demands that crowd out the chance to engage in big questions and quiet reflection.
Our time together will be filled with humor and curiosity, music and stories, conversation and deep listening. If you like the ideas shared in A Peace of My Mind and would like to explore them more deeply, join us for The Power of Story and the Courage to Change the World.
